ACORE Member Day events are open only to employees of ACORE Member Organizations. Member Day, taking place at The Newseum, on March 27, 2014, is composed of ACORE member workshops, coupled with a Member Luncheon and the Annual Membership Meeting, followed by the 11th Annual ACORE National Policy Forum Opening Reception as the Columbus Club in Union Station. In order to attend Member Day activities, ACORE Members are requested to pre-register for ACORE's National Policy Forum, and select the member workshops they would like to attend.

In its effort to procure renewable energy, the military prioritizes projects that are at or below the cost of grid power. Consequently, it often overlooks projects that could best maximize the use of renewable power and enhance energy security on base. This panel will address efforts to monetize the value of energy security and other policy issues related to rewarding the full value of renewable energy solutions. Speakers from the Department of Defense, the Hill, and the industry will interface with ACORE members on these timely issues and respond to key questions.
