2013 ACORE Member Day

ACORE Member Day events are open only to employees of ACORE Member Organizations. Member Day, taking place at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel, on February 5, 2013, is composed of ACORE member workshops, coupled with a Member Luncheon and the Annual Membership Meeting, followed by the 10th Annual ACORE National Policy Forum Opening Reception at the Folger Sakespeare Library. In order to attend Member Day activities, ACORE Members are requested to pre-register for ACORE's National Policy Forum, and select the member workshops they would like to attend.

This panel will provide an overview of the current policy landscape regarding the military's use of renewable energy. Learn about how the Department of Defense can overcome the hurdles posed by Congressional actions and defense budget cuts on its path to becoming more energy secure and increasing mission effectiveness. Speakers from the Department of Defense, the Hill, and the industry will interface with ACORE members on these timely issues and address key questions.
